Kyle’s Home

My oldest son is home for a couple of weeks from college. He wound up on academic probation and needed to take some summer courses in order to raise his GPA enough to not get kicked out. his weakness was science and math, mostly because he wasn’t prepared for the college level courses, not for a lack of intelligence. Where he finished what is equivalent to high school just wasn’t able to prepare him. Such is life, and he is looking at shifting his academic focus. He’s only home for a couple of weeks before having to go back before moving in for fall, but it’s nice to have him home, if just for a little while. There’s a lot to do, such as helping him get his driver’s license. It’s going to be a packed couple of weeks.
