Today I helped run a pancake breakfast to benefit the Girl Scout troops at our parish. It was a very long 6 hours, I was the first one in and the last one out. Fortunately, we had enough of the Knights of Columbus council to help with the back end in the kitchen. As for the “front of house” I think we wound up getting as many Girl Scout helpers to serve as we did people to feed.
