While August and Déla had their first day of school last week, this week Laura and Ciárán had their first day of school. Yesterday was Ciárán’s first day at pre-school. This year he is in the afternoon Pre-K program. While I do wish it were full day, they do seem to be getting him ready for Kindergarten.
Then today was Laura’s first day with students. She’s been working getting the classroom ready as the long-term substitute teacher for the last couple of days, but today is the first day of actual school for her.
You *must* write a post about your morning routine to get all the kids out the door when there are all of these firsts going on:)

Happy 1st days to all. It really is a momentous thing. Lukas had his first day of K today. It went pretty well. Slow start and we were there with him for a couple hours then we all went home. Tomorrow is the big day.
Where is he going? Seattle Schools started last week.
