Generosity And Graham Crackers

It was time for mid-morning snack. Déla got some sliced apples and went back downstairs to continue watching television.

A moment later Xavier came upstairs asking for snack. He opens the pantry door and peruses what is available. Spying the box of graham crackers, he asks for one. And one for Ciárán. And Déla. And August.

With a fist full of 4 graham crackers he heads back downstairs. I know with absolute certainty he will offer each of the other kids a graham cracker. This isn’t the first time he has done this.

Just don’t ask him to share his toys.
