Déla turned 8 Thursday last week (if you remember from my blog post from Friday), but her birthday party was held on Saturday. I won’t go into the problems we had in picking a theme or venue for the party. It may have taken a while, but when we hit on what and where, Déla finally…
It’s been a while since I’ve posted an installment, but if you’ve been paying attention you’ll know why (and have seen the pictures that I’ve posted). So here we are with the last full week of summer and plenty of pictures. It’s going to be a long one, so strap in and get comfortable.
I am stealing this idea directly from Chris Read (Canadian Dad) and while it wasn’t an original idea of his, it was because of his post that I’m creating this one. Top 5 Driving Songs His were summer specific but I’ve got no qualms about driving with the same music in the summer or winter….
This past weekend the Nordic Heritage Museum held is Viking Days festival. A couple of food booths, plenty of crafts and live music. [NOTE: Since the time I have received this for review and my posting the review, the release date has slipped, and now Amazon has this set being released in October. Hopefully this means some of the issues I bring up will have been fixed. If I hear of anything I will post corrections and additions…
Hulk has thrown Wolverine’s legs 4 miles up a mountain. That’s how Marvel Knights – Ultimate Wolverine Vs. Hulk begins. Flash back to Logan being recruited by Nick Fury to track down the presumed dead Hulk. Bruce Banner as the Hulk killed a large number of people in New York City, and the man behind…
I’ll come right out and say it: I think Disney’s Oliver & Company is one of the lesser offerings the studio has put out. This adaptation of Charles Dickens’ Oliver Twist falls flat in my opinion. The songs are pedestrian and this feels as if nearly everybody involved was sort of sleepwalking through the process….
Marvel Knights: Wolverine Origin is one of the two recent motion comics from Shout Factory, focusing on one of Marvel’s most popular character. Here we get the six issue limited series from a decade ago that looks at the literal origin of Wolverine, a character so shrouded in mystery even the character himself has little…
